Longines’ newest SIHH release, the Flagship Heritage 60th, is a great example of value in Longines’ Heritage Collection. This watch exemplifies the future of the heritage collection in size and the date design element.

The Skinny: It’s f*cking awesome. This new, and so damn vintage addition to the Longines Heritage collection is two things. First, it’s impressive – at 38mm, it’s large enough to be acceptable in the modern space but also small enough to retain classic vintage style. Further, It’s dial configuration is terrific and Longines brilliantly ditched the awfulness of the awkward date window. Second, it’s a sign that Longines has a future as not only a survivor but a legitimate contender in the watch world. To me, its the most well thought out addition to their Heritage collection and a sign that the company is moving in the right, thoughtful direction. This 60th anniversary celebration to their Flagship gives me hope for their brand, and I f*cking love it.
