In Episode 52 of #ASKTNH, Christian talks the Bell & Ross BR 123. We’ll set aside Bell & Ross’s rather false history-forging marketing tactic and go straight into this watch. The watch, at 41mm is (in my opinion) a bit too large, but with the conservative dial design (whether black, ivory, or vintage-y brown) and black PVD case option, the watch is definitely nice with a sweater and khakis. The watch is powered by a 2892, an ETA movement. If you’re into it, I recommend an aftermarket buy around $1.5-2k, saving at least a couple hundred. Ultimately, what YOU value will determine whether or not this watch is a good fit in your collection.
