In this week’s episode of ASKTNH LIVE, Christian tackles the hardest hitting questions of the week from the watchfam over on our Instagram (@theoandharris, wink wink).

Our first question comes in the form of whether or not Christian likes square watches. Whether it’s the Heuer Monaco, or the Nomos Tetra, the consensus is pretty clear: when done well, they can be some of the coolest, most unique pieces in existence.

Next, we dive into the world of Milanese bracelets, a specific variant of a mesh that can be seen on Christian’s new Breitling Superocean Heritage. It has often been regarded as one of the most interesting, unique, and flat out comfortable bracelet designs ever, and on this point, Christian definitely agrees.

Last, but certainly not least, we get into the subject of watch stories, and why it’s always better to ignore a question about where you got a piece and exchange that answer for the REASON you got it if the where is not that special on its own (“I just kinda grabbed it at Macy’s” is an example of “not particularly special”). So the next time a girl or guy asks where you got your watch, don’t be afraid to answer, and then explain why.
