Bradley Cooper’s $75K Oscar Watch:
Piece-Unique IWC Pilot “Le Petit Prince”
RANT&H | APR 03, 2019
In today’s episode, Christian and Anna dive into the watch worn by Bradley Cooper at the 2019 Oscar ceremony, a $75k IWC Big Pilot that he only wore ONCE.
At this year’s Oscar Awards ceremony, Bradley Cooper, star of such films as The Hangover, American Sniper, and most recently A Star is Born, wore an IWC Big Pilot Le Petit Prince in Red Gold, a piece unique in a metal that IWC doesn’t specifically make as executed here. The engraving on the caseback reads “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly,” another unique aspect of the model he wore.
The watch went from Bradley Cooper’s wrist during his performance at the show to Sotheby’s Auction House to be auctioned off for charity. It was eventually sold at $75k.
