In this week’s collection review, Christian dives into the collection of a young watch geek with a penchant for quirky, high value vintage pieces. Among some of the highlights of his collection is an incredible Omega Seamaster Soccer, a watch that would scream “Speedmaster” if not for the name on the dial, especially given the movement that the two models share. Also on the list are two STELLAR Jaeger LeCoultres, a Bulova Devil Diver, and an exquisite yellow gold Vacheron Constantin dress piece.

As for Christian’s recommendation…well, while the young man in question suggested a desire to buy a Tudor Snowflake, Christian takes a page from the collector’s own playbook and suggests a 79090 Tudor Submariner, a watch with much of the same funk, even MORE Rolex DNA than most Rolexes of the time period, and a significant opportunity for value appreciation.
