In this week’s collection review, Christian takes a look at the collection of the one, the only….Blake Shelton. Wait…that’s not it? Oh, it’s Adam? Right, the bromance always confuses me.
Anyway, Adam Levine, frontman of Maroon 5 and one of the coaches on The Voice, is probably the last person you think of when you think of vintage watch collecting. Yet, somehow, he’s amassed a truly INSANE collection of super rare vintage Rolexes that are sure to tick all the right boxes for even the purists among us. First on the list is a stunning set of Paul Newman Daytonas, including a truly rare bird – a 6264 in yellow gold, with a black acrylic bezel. From there, we travel to an as-of-yet unidentified vintage Submariner with no crown guards, but a small crown. Anyone with insight, let us know in the comments! Last, we have a pair of Day-Dates, one in white gold and one in yellow, both with Stella dials, and both the polar opposite of what you’d expect from a guy that collects vintage Rolex sport models primarily.
So what does Christian recommend? Since Adam loves the uber rare, it makes sense that Christian suggests a Rolex Space-Dweller. No clue what the Space-Dweller is? Tune in to the end of the video to see for yourself!
