First, we have the Rolex Date, seen here on our Jurassic strap. A conservative, classy option with a grey dial from 1971, the smooth bezel helps to offset the watch’s potentially dressy appearance and gives it a sportier edge.

Next up is a icon from Jaeger LeCoultre. No, not that one. Here we’ve got a 1963 JLC Memovox, a silver dial dress watch with a solidly unpolished case, and one of the most unique complications on the market – a mechanical alarm. We’ve paired it here with our Rover strap, a shade of green more commonly associated with Rolex that, regardless, looks superb on this classic.

Then, we move into the world of vintage Vacheron Constantin with a super thin yellow gold dress piece that is sure to appeal to the minimalist in all of us. Its glimmering silver dial, complete with thin stick hands and markers, really help drive home the simplicity of the watch, and when paired with something like our Quint strap, can even be used in somewhat less formal settings as well.

And last, but certainly not least, we have a Longines “Doctors” watch with a sublime rectangular yellow gold case. Its dial is unique, featuring the hour and minute markers engraved and painted in black on the top of the case, with the crystal solely there to protect the hands and silvery white dial. It’s a funky rarity in every sense of the word, and a hard one to beat.
