1) Thoughts on the Zenith hype at the moment?
The brand has managed to have a bit of a resurgence in recent years, partly as they begin to expand beyond the sole-model format that has been seen along with brands like AP. They’ve done a great job so far at reinventing themselves, but they have a long way to go before they can start resting on their laurels over it.

2) Will T&H ever interview Alessandro Squarzi?
There are not words enough on this earth to describe just how badly we would love to do that.

3) Do you refinish your watches?
In reference to dials, absolutely not. Would very happily have custom dials made for our own personal watches, but never one to sell in the shop. As for the cases, that depends highly on the individual watch and its case condition. While it’s highly unlikely you’d see one that’s been refinished pass through the shop, Rolly’s Datejust, for example, has been refinished, and it looks sublime.

4) Other accessories for men?
Rings and bracelets, when handled in a way that’s genuine, can be totally rockin’ along with cufflinks (especially funky ones).

5) Best straps for a Rolex Submariner?
The Jurassic and Rover straps, both of which toe the line of the iconic Rolex green, work superbly for different reasons, with the Jurassic being a bit more formal.

6) Best suits for working as an intern at a corporate job?
Spier and McKay make wonderful sport jacket and suit options (along with some killer trousers) along with a relatively attainable price point. However, once we realized we’d read the question wrong and it said “intern,” it changes the game a little bit. Now we’re looking at things like the kind of environment you’ll be working in, and the sort of style you have and are allowed to express. Here, we want to consider certain wardrobe staples, such as a grey jacket or beige trousers.
