A streamlined successor to the original Cartier Tank (the Normale), the Louis was the Cartier which established the brand as a cultural force. Inspired by the Renault tanks that the French jeweler saw in battle on the Western Front during the first World War, the Tank has been the foundation of the brands collection since.
This example, which is powered by a manually wound caliber, features an unpolished 18k yellow gold case, guilloche dial and super desirable elongated cabochon crown. It’s the perfect Louis for any lady, one that brings to mind Andy Warhol’s famous remark on his favorite wristwatch, “I don’t wear a Tank watch to tell the time. Actually I never even wind it. I wear a Tank because it is the watch to wear.”
And of course, it comes complete with a certificate of authenticity and appraisal and is shipped carefully and fully insured via UPS expedited service.

Each of our watches, from mid 20th century Omega’s to contemporary pieces from F.P. Journe, are accompanied by documentation of authenticity and appraisal. They’re also backed by our one year warranty, though we do expect careful treatment of all watches and do not cover damage inflicted post sale.
RETURNS
Clients are given a three day grace period after sale to return their wristwatches, no questions asked. To initiate a return, email office@theoandharris.com for shipping instructions and appropriate labels. All returned wristwatches that have been shipped and received must be returned in the same condition as when they were sold. Once received, Theo & Harris has 3 days to issue a refund, minus all shipping costs.
