In the past, I’ve stayed on the sidelines while the vintage Heuer market exploded. I patiently waited and read the trends until I spotted a painfully undervalued corner, the Camaro.
Not only does it share the backbone of some of the greatest and most revered chronographs of all time, the Valjoux 72, but it has a design worthy of commotion. With its faceted, almost plump square steel case, it’s just as funky (if not even more so) than its brothers and sisters in the Autavia and Carrera lines. So yes, it has all of the makings of an uber-desriable model and yet great examples can still be had for less than a standard steel Submariner. “Opportunity” is an understatement, geeks.
