This vintage LeCoultre is special, to say the least. From its perfectly marbled charcoal dial and gilt print to its unblemished white gold filled case, this example is capable of knocking your wind right out.
At its heart, the manually wound 480/CW caliber beats away. The wonderful, finely finished traditional Swiss movement is accented by Côtes de Genève and wide chamfers throughout, proving this under-the-radar piece to not only be handsome but a truly high quality wristwatch.
To me, there’s something extremely charming about owning a Jaeger LeCoultre – wearing the “watchmakers favorite watch” is a geeky experience you have to feel to understand but once you have, it’s unmistakable.
