FROM THE CURATOR
Since 1833, Jaeger LeCoultre has been a leading innovator in the watch industry, having developed over 1200 calibers. Known widely for the Reverso with its Deco styling and durable design developed for polo players, it’s easy to forget JLC’s role as a manufacturer of more casual watches, too. Known for their reliability and craftsman finishing, these pieces have become more and more rare and collectible.
This particular example, with the sword hands and sector dial, is prime evidence of the beauty and versatility of the brand. Like a perfectly aged map, the dial brings a lifetime of exploration and conquest to your wrist, too. It’s a luxurious, yet utilitarian wristwatch that will remind you of expedition and adventure with every turn of the crown.
And of course, it comes complete with a certificate of authenticity and appraisal and is shipped carefully and fully insured.
