From The Curator
This 1930’s Longines brings together utility and poetry in one sterling silver case.
At 34mm with wire fixed lugs and a bold onion crown, it carries the unmistakable DNA of early wristwatches born from pocket watch conversions and built for life in the field. The porcelain dial, with its black numerals and red 24-hour scale, has aged with grace, recalling a period when practicality and elegance weren’t at odds but in harmony. Inside, a manual wind movement keeps it alive nearly a century later.
Watches like this don’t just tell time, they tell stories of transition, resilience, and Longines’ unmatched ability to turn necessity into beauty.
And of course, it comes complete with a certificate of authenticity and appraisal and is shipped carefully and fully insured.
