From The Curator
Sizing conventions have certainly changed in the last 75 years, and what was once considered to be a rather large watch is now by present day standards notched in the sweet spot between vintage leanings and modern sensibilities.
Proportionally, every detail of this 1947 Omega is calibrated to deliver a sense of size and magnitude within the confines of a reasonable 47mm lug to lug stature. Numerals are kept small, pushed out and to the edges leaving room to appreciate the speckled and aging dial while the sub seconds carves itself a dominating presence at the six position.
What’s more, the caliber 265 ticking away inside is reliably up to the task of keeping this titan on time.
And of course, it comes complete with a certificate of authenticity and appraisal and is shipped carefully and fully insured via UPS expedited service.

About The Brand
Omega is one of history’s most significant brands. Whether we’re talking about the Seamaster, one of the first mass-market dive watches, or the Speedmaster, the first watch to be worn on the moon, the point is that Omega has been strewn throughout history as a brand to be reckoned with. Add to that the fact that they are now Bond’s brand of choice, and you have a real winner on your hands.
