From The Curator
This is a spectacular example of a vintage two-tone Rolex GMT Master. A Reference 16753, this watch perfectly captures the luxurious jet set aesthetic of the 1970s and 1980s. The absolute standout feature here is the highly coveted “nipple dial”, characterized by its distinct, raised solid gold hour markers filled with small dots of tritium lume, replacing the flat painted markers of standard models.
Set against a deep black dial and framed by a matching black and gold 24-hour bezel, the 18k yellow gold accents on the hands, crown, and Oyster bracelet center links create a stunning, high-contrast aesthetic. Sized at the classic 40mm, this is a quintessential vintage sports watch that seamlessly blends the rugged, dual-time zone functionality of a pilot’s tool with unapologetic luxury.
And of course, it comes complete with a certificate of authenticity and appraisal and is shipped carefully and fully insured via UPS expedited service.
