From The Curator
While some collectors chase pristine safe queens, the true romance of vintage horology lies right here. This 1978 Reference 16014 hasn’t just survived; it has lived. The dial has oxidized into an insane, organic “tropical” landscape, a deep, mottled earthy brown framed by heavy, creeping patina. Housed in a classic 36mm steel case with an 18k white gold fluted bezel and Jubilee bracelet, the traditional Rolex architecture lets this wild, one of a kind dial take absolute center stage. Protected by an acrylic crystal, this is a Datejust with pure, undeniable soul for a collector who wants a piece of history that tells a story.
And of course, it comes complete with a certificate of authenticity and appraisal and is shipped carefully and fully insured.

Their quality is second to none, and it makes sense that until this day, when someone thinks about James Bond, Magnum P.I. or Glengarry Glen Ross, they think of Rolex.
