Tudor Oyster “Norseman”
CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY & APPRAISAL
1 YEAR MECHANICAL WARRANTY
FROM THE CURATOR
Vintage Tudor is a bit of a strange land. There are so many models that, by virtue of not being Oyster Princes or Submariners, tend to get glossed over, and this Tudor Oyster Norseman is no exception to the funk that can be found outside the norm. First, we have the watch’s steel Oyster case and matching, rivet Oyster bracelet, which enhance the sporty vibe of the piece. Its dial, a sunburst silver that has gone almost champagne with time, also features an outer ring under the indices and Arabics at 12, 3, 6, and 9 that is grooved, almost engine turned and incredibly interesting for it. It offers a nice contrast against the steel of these indicators, and also helps give the watch a more sporty aesthetic than it may have otherwise had. Featuring large alpha hands at center, this Tudor Oyster Norseman straddles a fine line between pure sport and versatile/casual that makes it a real contender for your one and only watch.
And of course, it comes complete with a certificate of authenticity and appraisal and is shipped carefully and fully insured via UPS expedited service.
ABOUT THE BRAND
Tudor is, by and large, referred to in the horological community as Rolex’s little brother, a brand that exists primarily as a Rolex subsidiary, or at least did for a number of years. A major rebranding has occurred over the last few years that has taken Tudor from a brand living in Rolex’s shadow, to a truly value driven brand in their own right.
