It’s one of a kind.
Once it’s sold, it’s gone for good.

Piaget is one of the most interesting companies in the vintage watch market – they’re big on movements. Founded in 1874, Piaget solely produced wristwatch movements. They produced watches of their own after the turn of the century. But – they continued to focus on producing quality and record-breaking movements. In the late 1950’s, Piaget produced the first ultra thin mechanical movement. It was called the Caliber 9P and it was just 2mm thick.

In 1960, they introduced the world thinnest automatic movement – the 12P. And just three years ago, they released the world thinnest mechanical watch – at a total of 3.6mm thick. While developing original, bold designs, they matched it with the same quality and attention to movement – creating a powerhouse of a watch and unmistakable brand. To this day, they maintain an unwavering dedication to formality and tradition swiss watchmaking.

This Piaget is a perfect example of that.

It features the 9P movement, a beautiful white gold case, at 36 mm in diameter. This conservative size is matched with a clean, classic design of a two-hand time only dress piece.

Its dial was originally blue, but with time faded into a grey, slightly purple patina – it explodes on the dial from the inside out, a universe of intricacies, a delicate mess – into what once was a clean, minimalist space. I mean, it look’s like a wrist-sized galaxy.
